There’s no shortage of things to do over May Half Term in Liverpool and Merseyside this year. Check out our guide of what’s on in the area – hopefully the sun will make a return but even if the rain decides to stay, there’s something here for all the family. Let us know if you go to any of the events mentioned in our guide.

Much as it pains me to promote it, Liverpool FC are having a busy weekend on 24th & 25th May, finishing off with the Parade on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. The main roads in Liverpool are closed to traffic between 4am-11pm on Monday 26th May for the parade. People are advised to travel by public transport (Mersey Ferries are also putting on services for people coming from the Wirral) and arrive early.
