What to expect at a Pumpkin Patch?

What to wear when Pumpkin Picking?

We know you’ll be wanting the perfect photo opportunity and will want to look your best but go for warmth and comfort every time. Most Pumpkin Patches are in exposed field and farms, so super chilly – get those winter coats, hats and gloves out! You don’t want your best coat either, picking up pumpkins can be muddy business!

For footwear, you can’t beat wellies or walking boots.

Can I take a pram/pushchair to a Pumpkin Patch?

Many places simply don’t have room to move a pram around the pumpkins or the ground is too boggy. Try to leave it in the car if you can.

What else to take to a Pumpkin Patch?

Take a good strong tote bag or Bag for Life to carry your pumpkins to the car or home in.

A sheet in your boot can also be good for when you are going home and you take your wellies off.

Charge that phone up – you don’t want to miss that photo opportunity!

Most places have refreshments but if you are looking to save money, take your own drinks.
